- Created a budget for Ahoskie Elementary based on EVASS data and Teacher Working Conditions Survey.
- Worked on the Budget Preparation Package for the 2016-2017 School Year.
5B: Conflict Management and Resolution
The school executive effectively and efficiently manages the complexity of human interaction so that the focus of the school can be on improved student achievement.
- I organized parent, student, counselor, and administrator meetings.
- I participated in all the SPMT meetings and SSST meetings that address student issues and help address school needs that in return address student acheivement.

The school executive designs and utilizes various forms of formal and informal communication so that the focus of the school can be on improved student achievement.
- Letter of Introduction to AES Staff.
- Introduction at HCHS Staff Meeting.
- Use of email, face-to-face, and phone to communicate messages to staff.
5D: School Expectation for Student and Staff
The school executive develops and enforces expectations, structures, rules and procedures for students and staff.
- Participated in Tardy Sweeps for students.
- Participated in North Carolina New Schools training where protocols were discussed to be used in the classroom.
